About Me

Hi and welcome to PhotoWorks.co.nz; my name is Chelles Roberts and my passion is photography.

I trained as a Photographer, Graphic Designer and Artist at the Western Institute of Technology. My passion for photography soon took over as my one love not long after finishing my technical institute training. Over the last decade I have developed a flare for capturing 'the moment', with my individual character and love of people showing through in my work.

I hail originally from rural Taranaki, however I find myself now in Wellington experiencing the wild landscape, weather and the great people. You’ll find samples of my work on this site; these are just the tip of the iceberg for me. I paint regularly plus I have exhibited and sold many of my paintings.

I'm not one to be tied down to a style and I believe being adaptive is one of my major strengths, along with my eye for detail. You’ll be in capable hands when you have me as your photographer because I will capture the emotion, humour and fun of your occasion.
